In light of the recent tragedy in Boston,
this poem came to mind…
“The Weaver Poem”
My life is but a weaving, between my God and me,
I do not choose the colors, He worketh steadily,
Oftimes He weaveth sorrow, and I in foolish pride,
Forget He sees the upper, and I the underside.
Not till the loom is silent, and shuttles cease to fly,
Will God unroll the canvas and explain the reason why.
The dark threads are a needful in the skillful Weaver’s hand,
As the threads of gold and silver in the pattern He has planned.

Dear Shelly,
I was born in Simgapore in the fifties and this poem was given to me by a Scorrish overses missionary..
This lady Norma Stewart autographed this poem in my precious book and it encouraged me so much in my teens.
I lost my mother to cancer at the age of 8 and my 12 year old sister Winifred mothered me. God took her home at the age of 19 and i was shattered emotionally. I couldnt eat for 3 days and this poem shaped my life and gave me hope as i know God is my Divine Weaver.I wish to order 100 tracts to give to the old folks whom my husband Daniel and I are ministering to.
Pleasae advise me how to order and make payment. Thank you Shelly.

Hi Doris, thanks so much for sharing your story. We don’t actually sell tracts but you are more than welcome to use this image Shelley created on any literature you would like. Perhaps you have a local printer you could work with to create your own tract with this image? Lord bless you as you encourage others!

Dear Shelley, I’ve noticed your ealier correspondence with Doris Woon from Australia.. I am a retired British missionary now living in the Philippines, a country experiencing great shock and disallusionment at what’s happening with Covid 19. This includes many believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. My request is similar to that of Doris, namely I would like to acquire a quantity of that beautiful poem, The Weaver’s poem, for free distrubution here among family, acquaintances, friends & church colleagues as I believe it would be of great encouragement to many. As you do not produce quantities of this tract for sale, could you allow me to use your very attractive presentation of it as the basis for printing it locally (say, 200-300 copies). Truly we are living in challenging times! Blessings to you all.
