Excellent book revealing the power of Chirst in ALL things

I appreciate Shelley's openness and honesty as she courageously follows wherever the Lord leads her to share the love of God, and Jesus' transforming love and victory over ALL things that can have a stronghold on each of us. This book shares openly the struggles of the authors and other women who have been in the bondage of pornography. Their testimonies give others who are suffering in silence the courage to admit it and find a way out through Christ.

In addition to helping others find the courage to admit this addiction, this book also gives real, practical steps to take to break free for good from this stronghold through Christ. These suggestions are appropriate for any kind of addiction as they rely on the power, love and grace of Jesus.

As a mother of daughters, youth group leader and woman in today's society, I find this book to be eye opening to the problem that faces each of us, no matter what our age. As we are bombarded by today's media, it could be very easy for any of us to fall into this trap. It is thought provoking and makes us step back and really think about what we watch, what we allow our children to watch and how something that seems "not so bad" can really lure us into something we never thought could happen to us as Christian women.

I applaud the authors and those willing to share their testimonies for sharing their struggle and their walk to freedom through Christ. You have opened the door for Christ to work in countless lives through your honesty and passion to share the word of God and the hope found only in Jesus.

The majority of women, even in the church, have issues with sexuality and intimacy in some form or another. One third of all women have been raped or molested. Women need healing, and to know they are not alone.

It takes bravery for the last part. These women have stepped forward in faith and their courage has opened the door to help others.

There are a lot of books to read about men and pornography so it was nice to see that a woman decided to write about the new struggle for women and the traps that are set for women. I learned a lot and was able to give real wisdom to others because everything she said is true. Pornography and sexual sins attack everyone and we have to be aware of the ways of the enemy to protect ourselves and the people we love. I recommend this to all women and teens. ok, so this is probably one of the most legit on this topic ever. great for a counselor , Christian struggling or not. The great thing about Shelley is that she doesn't beat around the bush. I also feel she has a genuineness about all her books. I have many of her books and I'd recommend them all. They're all a pretty quick read also.
