Review:
As Christians we turn our back on sin too often. As Christians we sin too often and tend to overlook others’ sins too often.
God sent His son Jesus to die for our sins. His blood covers a multitude of sins, but we don’t seem to understand that in order for our sins to be forgiven we must not only be sorry, but we must REPENT. That means that we must turn from our wicked ways, (don’t do the sin anymore), and turn to God and ask forgiveness. Once we do this, He will forgive us our sins. However, most Christians get it wrong when we forgive. We forgive someone to make it easier for us to deal with our emotional upheaval. If someone wrongs us we are taught to forgive that person so that when we go to Christ He can forgive our sins. I agree with this as the Bible tells us exactly that.
The author says we are not suppose to forgive someone who has sinned against us until they repent. That is the way Christ Himself does it and we are to follow His example.

Book Description from Amazon:
Today’s “forgiveness” does just the opposite of what forgiveness is meant to accomplish – put another way, secular forgiveness causes more harm than good. The one forgiving is never made whole again, while the sinner is left in the same wretched condition. But true Christian forgiveness brings a blessing to all. We are to forgive, but it must be according to the example and teachings of Christ. Anything less is a sin.
